Thanks to the Institute for the Study of War founded by Kimberly Kagan, one can view a very interesting documentary on the "Surge". Two points are worth to be underlined. First, this is a very fair self-narrative by military officers and civilian officials that outlined the crucial events of 2007-2008. Second, it is very erudite and well-presented.
Update: of course, this is also a fragmented point of view because of its exclusively American perspective. And one could regret the way it is staged, especially with regards to the narration and the music… Well, let’s keep the testimonies and various interviews to deem it a "documentary worth to be watched".
